The Journal Record in Oklahoma City has hired Sam Royka as a business reporter.
She has been with the Norman Transcript. The Journal Record is a BridgeTower Media publication.
Royka also interned for The Oklahoman.
She is a graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma, where she was managing editor and editor in chief of The Vista student newspaper.
