Mike Jeffers, deputy team leader for Americas oil trading coverage at Bloomberg News, has left the news organization.
Jeffers is joining Shell as a social investment advisor.
He had been at Bloomberg for six years. He previously was a reporter and deputy editor for Argus Media in Houston.
Jeffers holds a bachelor’s degree from Southwestern University and a master’s degree from the University of Texas. He was also an officer in the U.S. Air Force.
