Adam James has been named editor in chief of cryptocurrency news site The Block.
He has been a managing editor for Europe, the Middle East and Africa of the news organization since 2022. The other current managing editor is Lawrence Lewitinn.
James previously was managing editor of OKX, a crypto news site, and was editor in chief of Bitcoinist.com.
He is a graduate of Commonwealth University-Bloomsburg.
