The Jacksonville Business Journal has hired Mauricio La Plante as a reporter.
He previously was a breaking news reporter for Treasure Coast Newspapers in southeast Florida. And he was a freelance reporter for San Jose Spotlight.
La Plante is a graduate of San Jose State University. While there, he worked as a reporter and editor for the Spartan Daily.
