Investopedia has hired Aaron Rennie as its news director.
He has been working for the personal finance site since February as a contract editor.
Rennie was a breaking news editor at The Messenger, which shut in January. Before that, he was at The Wall Street Journal, where he worked for more than a decade.
There, Rennie held the posts of interactive news writer and senior publishing editor. He was also an editor at Business Wire.
Rennie has a B.A. from the University of Michigan and M.S. from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
