Intellectual property reporter Britain Eakin is moving to the immigration beat as a senior reporter for Law360.
Eakin has been on the intellectual property beat for the past three and a half years.
She previously was with Courthouse News as a general assignment reporter covering civil cases in the U.S. District Court, the Supreme Court, congressional hearings and the Guantánamo Bay detention center.
She has reported on the Syrian refugee crisis, the Islamic State group and the Guantánamo parole board hearings at the Pentagon.
She was also a data editor at the Arizona Sonora News.
Eakin holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and a master’s degree from the University of Arizona.
