Insider taps Tangalakis-Lipper on the breaking news team

Katherine Tangalakis-Lippert

Katherine Tangalakis-Lippert has joined Insider’s breaking news team. She recently was a reporter covering retail, nonprofits and hospitality for the San Fernando Valley Business Journal.

She has been a freelance journalist since January 2020 writing, reporting and editing features, investigative pieces and personal essays for various publications.

Tangalakis-Lipper holds a bachelor’s degree from California Lutheran University and a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Southern California, where she was an investigative reporter for Annenberg Media and Beacon Project.
