Jennifer Polland, head of audience at Insider, has left for a new opportunity.
In this role, she oversaw editorial partnerships, distribution, social media, platforms, newsletters, homepage, push alerts, and growth.
Before that, she served as executive distribution editor. She also helped launch Insider’s website and managed the editorial team as deputy editor. She was then promoted to the post of executive web editor.
She was also lists and rankings editor, a role in which she helped launch Business Insider’s Lists vertical. She then served as a senior editor, overseeing the travel and lists sections. She has also held editorial roles at John Wiley and Sons in Hoboken, New Jersey.
She has also taught at City University of New York.
Polland has a B.A. from Colgate University and a M.A. from Syracuse University.
