Sara Peters, editor in chief of Information Week for the past four years, has left the news organization.
She was hired in 2021 to reinvigorate a 40-year-old news media brand serving IT executives. Peters led the publication to earn five editorial awards from the American Society of Business Professional Editors in 2024.
Peters has spent most of her career covering cybersecurity and enterprise IT, with a dash of basketball on the side.
Before joining InformationWeek, she was senior editor at Dark Reading and a featured NBA columnist for Bleacher Report.
She is a graduate of Rutgers University.
