The Indianapolis Business Times has hired Peter Blanchard as a reporter covering the statehouse and economic development.
He will start next week.
Blanchard is a general assignment reporter for The Reporter-Times in Martinsville, Indiana. A Pennsylvania native and graduate of Ithaca College, Blanchard worked for several years as a news reporter in commercial radio before launching an independent, hyperlocal news publication in central New York.
Prior to joining the Reporter-Times, he covered suburban Philadelphia for local news and information platform Patch.
