The Indianapolis Business Journal has hired Holly V. Hays as its news editor.
Hays is currently at the Indianapolis Star covering pop culture and entertainment — both how it enriches our lives and the ways Hoosiers have shaped it.
She has covered a variety of topics since joining IndyStar in 2016, including public safety, child welfare and city government. A Bloomington townie, Hays got her start working at the Herald-Times when she was 15 and has worked in news in some capacity ever since.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and Spanish from IU Bloomington and a master’s in philanthropic studies from the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy at IU Indianapolis.
