Inc. reporter Angell to cover fed government policy

Inc. reporter Melissa Angell is now covering policy from the White House and government agencies.

She will be covering policy and other news from the departments of Labor and Commerce, and other agencies like the SBA. Before her beats touched on health care, health insurance, wellness, the SBA and small business lending

Angell joined Inc. magazine in 2021 covering entrepreneurs and all things work-related. Previously, she was a reporter at Law360.

She’s also reported for American Banker where she covered credit unions and TheStreet where she focused on health care, and was a web editor at NBC29 WVIR-TV in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Angell graduated from University of Virginia.

He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
