Laura Hughes, a political and diplomatic correspondent at the Financial Times will join its new special investigations team after returning from maternity leave.
She begins on April 5.
Prior to joining the Financial Times, Hughes was a politics reporter at The Washington Post. Before that, she was a political correspondent at The Telegraph.
Hughes graduated from the University of York.
