Huge CTV layoffs, new biz tech move at CBS, Fox Weather’s on air host

It’s a devastating blow to Canadian journalism, as the parent company of CTV News lays off 1300 workers. On the upside, TBN reports key hires elsewhere. CBS News has named Jo Ling Kent a senior biz and tech correspondent, while Bob Van Dillen has joined Fox Weather as on-air host.
