Howard joining Bloomberg’s financial regulation team

Megan Howard

Bloomberg News journalist Megan Howard is joining its financial regulation team.

She has been team leader for breaking news in Washington. Howard has been on the breaking news team since September 2019. She previously was deputy team leader.

Howard has been a a congressional reporter covering veterans affairs and defense for Bloomberg Government. She has appeared on Bloomberg Radio and ABC’s Government Matters and previously covered House and Senate floor action for Bloomberg Government.

She previously was a legislative data analyst for Bloomberg Government. Howard is a graduate of Christopher Newport University.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
