- As a creator economy reporter at Bloomberg, you write about content creators and the business of making money off YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. You also cover the ecosystem of talent agents, startups, brands, and investors supporting them. Can you give us some examples of the stories you’re writing?It’s a mix of things. A lot of stories at Bloomberg will be deals-driven. I wrote about an influencer agency called Whalar that raised money from Mark Benioff. I will do a story about Jake Paul having a fight with Mike Tyson, but talk about his men’s care brand—body spray, deodorant, etc. We’ll do stories on how LinkedIn is trying to get more creators to post and sharing advertising revenue with folks, as well as how a YouTube golfing channel is raising millions of dollars, so it’s really across the board.
