Kyra Buckley, an energy reporter at The Houston Chronicle, wrote on Twitter that she is leaving to become a business reporter for Oregon Public Broadcasting:

“I’m in my final days at the @HoustonChron. Words cannot express how much I’ve learned covering energy and the electric grid, but mostly from working with the team on the business desk.”

Previously, Buckley was an energy reporter at Houston Public Media and served as a morning edition host and reporter at KUNC-FM 91.5, a radio station in Northern Colorado and KJAZ-FM 105.5, a public radio station in Colorado.

She also held the same post at KLCC-FM 89.7, NPR member station in Oregon.

Buckley has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Oregon.
