Houston Business Journal reporter Samora departs

Sara Samora

Sara Samora, a general assignment reporter at the Houston Business Journal, has left and joined Stars and Stripes in Washington as a veteran reporter.

She has previously written for the New Braunfels Herald-Zeitung in Texas. Before that, she was a social media specialist at NextOp Veterans, where she increased the company’s social media presence by over 22 percent.

Additionally, she was an editorial intern at Houstonia Magazine and was in active duty with the United States Marine Corps where she worked as an administrative specialist.

Samora has a B.A. from the University of Houston and holds a master’s degree in journalism from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
