Wyatt Loy, assistant managing editor of print and events at the Houston Business Journal, is joining parent company American City Business Journals in July as a senior researcher.
They will lead a team that builds and ships data products across its publications in Austin, Dallas, San Antonio, and Houston. That includes the weekly lists, the annual Book of Lists and other data products.
Loy originally joined the Houston publication as a data reporter focused on lists.
Previously, Loy was a data reporting intern at AccuWeather, which covers climate change and extreme weather events. They reported on local government, elections and environment for local Ohio news source The Portager.
Loy has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Kent State University.
