The Houston Business Journal has named Sean McCrory its new editor-in-chief.
He joins from the Orlando Business Journal, where he held the same post.
Before that, McCrory held the post of executive editor at the Denton Record-Chronicle in Texas. He taught at the University of Florida and served as assistant managing editor for local content at The Gainesville Sun, where he previously worked from December 1997 to April 2005. There he held the posts of assistant news editor and editor.
He also held the posts of copy editor, business writer/copy editor and news editor at Beaumont Enterprise.
McCrory has a B.S. in journalism from the University of Florida.
