Horn becoming news product manager at Bloomberg Industry

Marissa Horn

Bloomberg Industry Group senior digital editor Marissa Horn is leaving the newsroom to become a news product manager for the organization.

For the past 10 months, she has been leading a team of news engineers to develop automated news products.

Horn has also been a digital editor for audience engagement and environment desk editor at Bloomberg Industry. And she was a breaking news editor for Bloomberg News.

She is a graduate of the University of Maryland. Horn was a Dow Jones News Fund editing intern at The New York Times.

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
