Alan Henry has been named special projects editor at Wired magazine.
He has been the senior editor for service at Wired in New York City and has been at the magazine since 2020.
He was previously Smarter Living editor at The New York Times and editor in chief of Lifehacker.
He has written and edited stories about productivity and technology for over a decade. He is also the author of the book “Seen, Heard, and Paid: The New Work Rules for the Marginalized.”
Henry holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland and an MBA from its global campus.
