Axios global technology correspondent Ryan Heath has left the news organization to become head of communications at legal tech company Robin AI.
He has been at Axios for slightly more than a year. Before that, he was editorial director of Politico Live and was also editorial director of global growth at Politico.
Heath has also been a senior EU correspondent and associate editor at Politico. He began writing for national newspapers in his native Australia in 1999. After working as a speechwriter for the British civil service for seven years, he joined the European Commission spokespersons’ service in 2011 working for President José Manuel Barroso and Vice President Neelie Kroes.
Heath has been a regular policy commentator on outlets such as the BBC, Deutsche Welle and Al-Jazeera, and reported from major events such as the World Economic Forum in Davos and Eurovision.
