Health care reporter Sarah Karlin-Smith is joining Public Citizen as a research director later this month.
She has been a senior writer at The Pink Sheet since March 2020.
Karlin-Smith previously worked at Politico for five years as a pharmaceuticals and health care reporter. She initiated Politico Pro’s coverage of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the biotechnology industries with daily breaking news stories and pieces on science and policy related to drugs, medical devices and tobacco.
She also worked for two years at FDA News.
Karlin-Smith is a graduate of George Washington University.
