
Ken Wills has been hired by Hawaii Business magazine to be its managing editor.
He will start July 7.
He succeeds Cynthia Wessendorf, who is shifting her focus to her freelance writing career. She will continue as a senior contributing writer for Hawaii Business.
Wills has been freelancing for the past five years, including stringing for the Associated Press.
He previously was Beijing bureau chief for Bloomberg News and spent more than a decade at Reuters in various roles. Wills also worked for Bridge News from 1995 to 2000.
