Harvard Business Review has named longtime HBR leader Erika Heilman as Group Publisher and Senior Vice President.

In this role, she will lead HBR’s commercial business, overseeing subscriptions, advertising, book publishing, licensing, events, and product development.

Heilman has spent more than eight years in senior leadership roles at HBR. Most recently, she was Deputy Publisher and Vice President, where she led HBR’s commercial strategy and helped drive key growth initiatives, including the launch of HBR Executive, HBR’s premium offering for senior leaders.

She continues to serve as Publisher of HBR Press, where she previously held the roles of Associate Publisher and Commercial Director.

“Erika Heilman is an exceptional leader with a deep understanding of HBR’s business,” said Sarah McConville, Co-President of Harvard Business Publishing, who previously served as Group Publisher, in a statement. “Her vision, strategic judgment, and commercial expertise will be invaluable as we continue to expand how we serve business leaders around the world.”
