Harki to join Bloomberg Law as investigations editor

Gary Harki

Gary Harki is joining Bloomberg Law as an investigations editor.

He starts in April. Recently, he has been working as an investigative reporter, covering criminal justice at Spotlight PA. He has also worked at The Virginian-Pilot and The Charleston Gazette in West Virginia.

He is a former Livingston Award finalist and has spent a year in Marquette University’s O’Brien Fellowship in Public Service Journalism. In 2019 he won the Al Nakkula Award, which honors outstanding police reporting.

He has also reported for Energy Intelligence in Washington D.C.

Harki is a West Virginia University graduate.
