The Austin Business Journal has promoted assistant managing editor Kathryn Hardison to managing editor.
She had rejoined the American City Business Journals publication in August. Hardison replaces Will Anderson, who left the paper to become editor in chief of the Dallas Business Journal.
Hardison had covered economic development for the Austin publication from September 2020 to March 2022 and then was a reporter for The Wall Street Journal for a year. She also worked as a reporter for the Springfield Business Journal.
Hardison is a graduate of the University of Missouri. She worked for the Columbia Missourian while in college.
