George Hammond, a property correspondent at The Financial Times, will be leaving for San Francisco, where he will cover venture capital for the publication.
Hammond started at the FT as a freelancer in April 2017. He joined the staff full time in October 2018 as a property reporter covering the UK housebuilder news and the residential property market. He then held the post of Asia finance reporter.
He was a researcher on the foreign desk at the Times.
Hammond graduated from the University of Oxford.
