Guillot moving to Politico’s energy and climate team

Louise Guillot

Politico reporter Louise Guillot is moving to its energy and climate team to cover European Union climate policy.

She has been a reporter on Politico’s sustainability team.

Born in France, Guillot studied literature and political science at the University of Poitiers before moving to Paris for her master’s degree at Sciences Po, where she decided to dive into European Affairs. She specialized in European energy and sustainability policies and graduated from the College of Europe in 2019.

Since 2016, She regularly wrote for the European online media « Le Taurillon » and developed its first podcast. She was also the co-editor in chief of the publication in 2018-2019. In addition, she regularly delivered editorial pieces for the French radio station « Euradio ».

Guillot joined Politico as a Lénaïc Fund fellow in October 2019.

He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
