Anna Isaac, economics editor at The Independent, will leave to join The Guardian as a city editor on its business desk. Isaac will “report on the changing face of Britain’s financial center, corporate investigations and the flow of money and power between business and politics.”
Isaac was a trade and economics correspondent at Politico and a reporter at The Wall Street Journal. She was a small business editor and economics correspondent at The Telegraph.
Previously, she worked at The Guardian from October 2014 to July 2016 as a journalist and deputy editor.
Isaac graduated from the University of Cambridge.
