Gross departing Technically Philly after four years

Paige Gross

Senior reporter Paige Gross is leaving Technically Philly after four years.

Her last day is Friday.

Along with some daily reporting, she has been focusing on more trend stories, deep dives and “big headlines.”

Gross joined the Technically Media team as Philly’s lead reporter in June 2019 after spending two years as a breaking news and crime reporter.

She’s a graduate of Temple University where she studied journalism and history, and edited the student-run newspaper, The Temple News.

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
