Greene joining TheStreet as a senior writer/editor

Jena Greene

TheStreet.com has hired Jena Greene as a senior writer/editor.

Greene has previously been a managing editor for Opendoor for the past six months.

Before that, she was  bureau chief, consumer goods & financials at The Motley Fool after serving as editor and analyst for more than a year at the company.

Previously, she was an entertainment reporter at The Daily Caller and before that, held the post of media coordinator at Stateside Associates.

She has also interned at numerous places, including AOL, Greenwich Associates, Vineyard Vines, and Bridal Trousseau. Her internship experience ranges from marketing communications to customer experience to customs and design.

Greene is a B.A. in American studies from Trinity College in Hartford.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
