She comes from MJBiz where she was editorial director of projects. She will remain based in Boulder, Colorado, and will help create a new menu of newsletters along with other projects.

Green Market Report also recently hired breaking news reporter Adam Jackson, who is based in Florida.

He previously covered the Missouri statehouse for The Columbia Missourian and freelanced for The Missouri Independent, where he produced award-winning work. He most recently covered retail, restaurants, and other consumer companies for Bloomberg News.

The cannabis industry publication has also hired Chris Cohen to its sales team. He is based in Las Vegas and was the founder of Square Grouper 360. He was also the cannabis strategist at MNI Media. Cohen will head sales and partnerships for Green Market Report advertising and events.

“We are thrilled to have assembled such a stellar group of people for Green Market Report,” said founder and executive editor Debra Borchardt. “We are celebrating five years as an online cannabis financial news media source and the best gift is this growth.”
