Patrick Brethour, tax and fiscal policy reporter at The Globe and Mail, has joined its editorial board as the editorials editor. Previously, Brethour was a senior news editor.
He was editor in chief of Brunswick News Inc.
Brethour was with The Globe and Mail from August 1998 through May 2014. During this time, he served as a technology editor, e-commerce and technology reporter, Alberta bureau chief, British Columbia editor, deputy managing editor and deputy of Report on Business and night editor.
Brethour graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University.
