The (Toronto) Globe and Mail has hired Meera Raman to cover retirement and financial planning.
“I’ll be writing stories that meet readers where they’re at — whether they’re just starting to think about saving, rejigging their plans mid-life, or navigating retirement right now,” she wrote on LinkedIn.
Raman most recently has been a writer for Peak Money, a twice-weekly personal finance newsletter with over 40,000 subscribers.
She previously worked for the Boston Business Journal covering philanthropy and nonprofits.
Raman previously interned at the Boston Business Journal covering Black and minority-owned businesses. He was also a podcast fellow at WBUR.
She holds a bachelor’s degree from McGill University and a master’s degree from Boston University.
