Gizmodo promotes Serrano to online communities and internet reporter

Gizmodo has tapped Jody Serrano as online communities and internet reporter.

Recently, she held the post of nights and weekends editor.

Serrano began her career in Texas, where she also worked for the Austin American-Statesman and The Texas Tribune. She was also with Politico in Washington D.C., where she covered social media and FCC, among others.

She has also worked for Gizmodo en Español, Gizmodo’s Spanish language vertical, covering international industry news.

Serrano has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a master’s degree from IE Business School in Madrid.
