Matthew Gault, host and producer of the “CYBER” podcast for Vice’s Motherboard, was among those laid off.
“Working with the wonderful people at Motherboard was the honor of my life,” he wrote on Twitter. “Hosting CYBER was a joy.”
Gault joined Vice in September 2015 as a contributing editor.
He also worked at Reuters as a producer and co-host. Gault holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas.
