Gander joins Insider as health editor

Kashmira Gander

Insider has hired Kashmira Gander as a health editor.

She joins from Newsweek, where she recently served as science editor.

Before that, she has held the posts of reporter, senior reporter, health correspondent, deputy science editor and acting science editor at Newsweek. She was also a senior features writer at the International Business Times in London.

She has also worked at The Independent for over four years and was a freelance editorial assistant at The i Paper.

Gander has a B.A. in English literature from Queen Mary University of London.
