Renée Kaplan, head of digital editorial development at the Financial Times, is leaving to become head of news at ARTE, a European news channel based in France.
Kaplan has been with the FT since May 2015 and is currently a Nieman Journalism Fellow.
Before, Kaplan was chief content officer at Havas Worldwide in Paris, where she launched its Content Studio.
She also worked at CNN, “60 Minutes,” The New York Observer and “The Charlie Rose Show.”
She holds a bachelor’s degree from Princeton University and a law degree from Harvard University.
