Kristina Shevory, the Texas correspondent for the Financial Times, has left the publication.
She covered oil and gas companies, as well as the Texas economy, politics and cross-border issues.
Prior to joining the FT, she worked as a freelance journalist for the New York Times, contributing over 100 articles across nearly all sections of the publication.
Shevory has also managed a newspaper in Russia, covered state politics at the Associated Press in Texas, written about fine wine and business at the Seattle Times and dissected the booms and busts of the oil and gas industry at TheStreet.com.
She is a native Texan and a U.S. Army veteran who speaks Spanish and Russian.
