Wilson previously was the FT’s senior energy correspondent writing about the intersection between energy and geopolitics. covering the world’s largest energy companies and trading houses, the governments that regulate them and the markets where they operate. He also covered OPEC and the energy transition. He previously ran the FT’s Middle East and Africa news coverage after serving in Kenya as the FT’s East Africa correspondent.
Prior to the FT, he reported for Bloomberg from the Democratic Republic of Congo and London, after an earlier career advising companies and governments on political and business issues in Africa.
