The Financial Times has named Claire Jones to be its global economy news editor.
Jones has been with the FT since 2011.
She previously was in the publications Washington bureau. She has also been the Frankfurt bureau chief and at FT Alphaville, where she wrote about the global economy.
Jones joined the FT as a money supply/economics team writer. Jones also worked as editor of several central banking publications prior to her roles at the Financial Times.
She graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
