
Peter Campbell has been named the global transport correspondent for the Financial Times, covering airlines and trains, as well as transport policy.
He was previously UK political news editor overseeing the political coverage from Westminster. Before that he was global motor industry correspondent for nine years, leading coverage of the auto industry and chairing the FT’s Future of the Car Summit, where he interviewed industry leaders including Elon Musk, Carlos Tavares and Jim Farley.
He has previously covered technology, energy, retail, telecoms, media and tax.
He was named Young Journalist of the Year at the British Press Awards in 2014.
