Officials from the Financial Times visited the Okaz and Saudi Gazette newspapers at the headquarters of Okaz Organization for Press and Publication in Jeddah on Sunday.
A story in the Saudi Gazette states, “During the visit, both sides discussed areas of joint cooperation between the two leading media organizations. On their part, officials of the British newspaper reviewed potential opportunities for cooperation in the fields of digital media, publishing, and training.
“The FT delegation expressed their aspirations for future cooperation with the Okaz and Saudi Gazette newspapers, appreciating the professional track record and the media successes that the two newspapers have hitherto achieved.
“On his part, Jameel Altheyabi, editor-in-chief of Okaz and general supervisor of Saudi Gazette, said that in the event of signing of a memorandum of cooperation between Okaz and the Financial Times, it would enhance the exchange of experiences and content making, featuring high professional quality.”
