The Financial Times is launching “Swamp Notes,” a podcast on U.S. politics, as a weekly standalone show after it was previously hosted on the FT News Briefing feed.
The first episode will be on May 17.
“Swamp Notes” will explores the intersection of money and power in American politics, and the biggest themes driving policy, business and markets from Washington, New York and beyond.
Hosted by Marc Filippino, the podcast features some of the FT’s journalists, including U.S. national editor Edward Luce and global business columnist Rana Foroohar, alongside expert guests.
“’Swamp Notes’ has distinguished itself in a crowded political podcast landscape with sharp, global analysis from FT reporters on the forces driving politics and the economy,” said Topher Forhecz, acting co-head of FT Audio.
