
The Financial Times has hired Julie Steinberg as a property correspondent.
Steinberg is a former reporter for The Wall Street Journal, where she covered global metals and mining reporter from London.
She previously covered large investors, M&A and banks for the Journal in London, Hong Kong and New York. She and a colleague won a SABEW award for their coverage of brokerage firm MF Global’s implosion, and she was nominated for a British Journalism Award for her coverage of Greensill Capital. She earlier reported for FINS.com, the finance career website from the Journal.
Steinberg graduated from the University of Pennsylvania.
