The Financial Times has hired Chris Kay as its Mumbai correspondent.
Kay has been a reporter and editor covering South Asia for Bloomberg News and Businessweek. He has written widely on politics, business, health, conflict and climate change.
Currently based in Mumbai, Kay previously managed news bureaus in Nigeria and Pakistan. He has worked for Bloomberg since June 2010.
He holds a journalism masters from City University London.
