FT hires Hamer as editor on companies desk

The Financial Times has hired Alex Hamer as an editor on the FT’s companies desk with a focus on energy and mining.

He previously was a reporter and a news editor at Investors Chronicle in London.

Hamer also worked as a reporter at Mining Journal.

He is a graduate of Monash University.
