
Lisa Friedman is now an energy correspondent on the New York Times business news desk.
She has been covering climate policy and politics since joining the Times in June 2017.
Before joining The Times, Friedman was the Washington bureau chief for The Oakland Tribune and The Los Angeles Daily News. She was also the editor of Climatewire, an energy policy publication.
Friedman holds a bachelor’s degree from Columbia University and once started working toward a master’s in journalism at the University of Maryland.
